Removing ACID Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Dilute them immediately with club soda.
Step2 Apply a solution of 1 part ammonia and 10 parts water.

Step3 Rinse with cold water. Let dry. Vacuum gently. 

Removing ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Blot with a paper towel or clean white cloth as soon as possible.
Step2 Sponge the stain with a solution of 1 tbsp. mild detergent, 1 tbsp. white vinegar and 1 quart warm water.

Step3 Apply a little bit at a time, blotting frequently with a dry cloth until the stain disappears. 

Removing BLOOD Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 The blood stain is dry, brush it with a steel brush to loosen the stain and to remove the surface deposit.
Step2 Apply a solution of 1 tsp. of hand dishwashing detergent with 2 cups of cold water. Repeat until the stain is removed.

If the process above doesn’t work, try the solution of one-half cup of warm water with one tbsp. of ammonia. 

Removing BUTTER Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Scrape up as much as possible.
Step2 Apply dry-cleaning fluid. Let Dry. Repeat until the spot is removed.
Step3 Vacuum gently. 

Removing CANDLE WAX Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Don’t rub the stain into the carpet.
Step2 Press an ice cube against the wax stain to harden it.

Step3 Pull the solid wax up. 

Removing CHOCOLATE Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Spoon the chocolate from the carpet immediately. Run cold water directly over the carpet stain.

Step2 Rube the stain with a bit of dishwashing detergent and a clean cloth. Let sit for a few minutes.

Step3 Rinse with cold water. Let dry. Vacuum gently. 

Removing COFFEE Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Blot immediately with a paper towel or clean white cloth to remove excess coffee.
Step2 Apply a solution of 1 teaspoon mild detergent, 1 teaspoon white vinegar and 1 quart warm water. Let dry.

Step3 Apply dry-cleaning fluid. Let dry. Vacuum gently. 

Removing CRAYON Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Place a blotter over the stain and press it with a warm icon to melt the crayon stain. Step2 Move the blotter when it absorbs the melted crayon. Repeat.
Step3 Apply dry-cleaning fluid. Let dry. Vacuum gently. 

Removing SALAD DRESSING & GRAVY Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Wipe up immediately as much as possible.
Step2 Apply a solution of 1 teaspoon mild detergent, 1 teaspoon white vinegar and 1 quart warm water. Let dry.

Step3 Apply dry-cleaning fluid. Let dry. Vacuum gently. 

Removing CHEWING GUM Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Don’t rub the stain into the carpet.
Step2 Press an ice cube against the blob of gum to harden it.

Step3 Pull the gum off. 

Removing INK Stains From Carpets

 

Step 1 Dampen a clean white cloth with isopropyl alcohol (the higher the alcohol, the better it will work). Step 2 Proceed by dabbing the wet cloth on the ink spot. Be careful not to rub or scrub.
Step 3 Let stand for a few minutes. Use a liquid friendly vacuum to remove the excess moisture. 

Removing JUICE & JAM Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Scrapet up the jam and absorb fruit juice as soon as possible.
Step2 Apply a solution of 1 teaspoon mild detergent, 1 teaspoon white vinegar and 1 quart warm water. Let dry.

Step3 Repeat step 2 until the spot is removed. Vaccum gently. 

Removing KETCHUP Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Sponge a mixture of 1 cup vinegar and 2 cups water into rug.

Step2 Frequently wring out sponge until the stain is gone.
Step3 Let dry. Vacuum gently. 

Removing KOOL-AID Stains From Carpets

 

Step 1 Gently blot the stain with a dry white towel.
Step 2 Spray the stain with a solution of 1/4 cup of white vinegar, 1 tbsp. of dish soap, and fill with water. Let soak for 10 mins.

Step 3 Proceed with blotting with a clean, dry towel until stain is removed. 

Removing MUD Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Allow the mud to dry completely and then brush or scrape off as much as possible.
Step2 Apply a solution of 1 teaspoon mild detergent, 1 teaspoon white vinegar and 1 quart warm water. Let Dry.

Step3 Apply dry-cleaning fluid and blot dry if stain remains. Let dry completely. Vacuum gently.

Removing URINE Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Blot with a paper towel or clean white cloth.
Step2 Apply a solution of 1 teaspoon mild detergent, 1 teaspoon white vinegar and 1 quart warm water.

Step3 Repeat step 2 until the spot is removed. Vaccum gently. 

Removing SOFT DRINKS Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Blot with a paper towel or clean white cloth ASAP because the dyes in the drinks may stain permanently.

Step2 Apply a solution of 1 teaspoon mild detergent, 1 teaspoon white vinegar and 1 quart warm water. Let Dry.

Step3 Repeat step 2 until the spot is removed. Vaccum gently. 

Removing VOMIT Stains From Carpets

 

Step1 Ladle out the vomit ASAP and dilute the spot immediately with club soda. Step2 Apply a solution of 1 part ammonia and 10 parts water.
Step3 Rinse with cold water. Let dry. Vacuum. 

Removing WINE Stains From Carpets

 

Step 1 Blot with a paper towel or clean white cloth to remove excess wine.
Step 2 Clean the spot with club soda and cover with table salt. Wait 10 minutes. Step 3 Vacuum up the salt gently.
